The U<\/strong>ser eX<\/strong>perience (UX<\/strong>) Lab<\/strong> of the Human-Centred Intelligent System<\/a> Research Macroarea focuses on evaluating<\/strong> and improving<\/strong> the user experience of intelligent interactive systems. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

What Is Done in the UX Lab<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Human-Centred Technologies and Machine Intelligence Lab<\/a> as well as the Physical Computing Lab<\/a> can provide functional prototypes<\/strong> for user experience testing<\/strong> in the UX Lab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the UX lab, users can interact with these prototypes, and researchers can collect and process quantitative user-experience data<\/strong>. Results of data processing help in further developing the prototypes in the aforementioned labs, or revising their the ideation in the Collaborative Design and Ideation Lab<\/a> of the macroarea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This iterative process allows for continuous improvements<\/strong> of the user experience. Moreover, it ensures a cohesive<\/strong> user experience across both the physical and digital aspects of the systems under development. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lab is equipped with an iMotions software system allowing to collect and analyze human behavior data through <\/p>\n\n\n\n
